Pumpkin, Feta and Walnut Salted Cake

The pumpkin is low in calories and ideal to fill up on vitamin A!


– 400 g pumpkin
– 1 onion
– 50 g walnuts
– 3 eggs
– 150 g of feta cheese
– 150 g flour
– 1 sachet of baking powder
– 10 cl milk
– 10 cl olive oil
– 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
– salt
– pepper


Preheat the oven to 200°C.

1: Peel and dice the pumpkin. Boil in a saucepan for 30 minutes.

2: Drain the cooked pumpkin and puree into a bowl.

3: Chop and caramelize the onion in a frying pan with a little olive oil. Then add to the pumpkin puree.

4: Gently add to the mixture and mix in the flour, eggs, milk, yeast, olive oil, diced feta cheese, crushed nuts and curry powder.

5: Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

6: Pour into a silicone cake pan or a cake pan lined with baking paper. Sprinkle some crushed nuts of your choice on top as a garnish.

7: Bake 45 min.

8: Enjoy!
