Fresh avocado, shrimp and pink grapefruit salad

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 350 g of prawns
  • 2 pink grapefruit
  • 2 avocados
  • 2 lemons
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • A few sprigs of chives
  • Tabasco

Preparation steps

  1. Shell the prawns. Put them in a soup plate with juice of 1 lemon, olive oil and 3 to 4 drops of tabasco. Mix well. Let macerate the time to prepare the rest of the salad.
  2. Peel the grapefruits. Detail them in quarters and peel them. Peel the avocados. Remove the stone. Detail the avocado in dice. Sprinkle them with the juice of the second lemon.
  3. Mix quarters of grapefruit, avocado dices and shrimps with the juice of the marinade. Sprinkle with chiselled chives. Serve very fresh.

Tips and advice

For firm avocado to mature, wrap them separately in newspaper and leave at room temperature.
