Clean eating, which means “Healthy Eating”, is a trend that comes from Californian nutritionist Tosca Reno.
Can Clean eating be classified as a diet?
It is not a diet but rather a healthy lifestyle that will help you regain your health, fitness and overall form by choosing the most natural and simple foods possible.
How to put it into practice?
This method of eating, favors natural or organic foods as much as possible as well as foods that do not contain any pesticides. Most of the food we eat comes from sectors that are not environmentally friendly. Very often the use of pesticides, antibiotics, GMOs, additives, chemicals, synthetic sweeteners, preservatives, colourings lead food to be “contaminated with toxins”. We therefore accumulate waste and our body becomes saturated.
Clean eating favours simple, raw and natural foods and keep you away from industrial, processed, refined and processed products. Overall, the caloric intake is reduced and the meat intake is limited, especially for red meat, whose production method is extremely polluting. You can continue to eat anything but progressively, you should start eliminating industrial foods (those that are too salty, too sweet, too fatty). This will help you lose a few pounds that you had accumulated due to inflammatory foods.
What are the benefits of Clean Eating?
Inflammation in the body causes weight gain, joint pain, autoimmune diseases, skin problems, acne, psoriasis, greyish complexion, dark circles. With Clean eating, regain the health and radiance of your skin! This diet is rich in antioxidants and will benefit you through its an anti-aging effect.
Clean eating also makes it possible to fight against the presence of endocrine disruptors around us. Indeed, this way of life limits the use of plastics, packaging as as well as pesticides which contain substances that disrupt our hormones and especially those of children.
What are the effects on our body ?
The presence of traces of antibiotics in meat and chicken considerably alters our intestinal flora (or microbiota) causing permeability of the enterocyte barrier. In turn, large molecules cross into the bloodstream leading to certain immune reactions such as: intolerances, allergies, autoimmune diseases, skin problems, thyroiditis, joint diseases etc….
Also, antibiotics attack both bad and good bacteria and are consumed on a daily basis, leaving room for pathogenic yeasts such as Candidas Albicans, which overgrow in the intestine and can lead to strong digestive disorders and fungal infections throughout the body.
Clean Eating allows you to make healthy food choices and reduce your overall consumption a little bit. This way of eating does not exclude any food group and allows you to eat everything. Clean Eating is now part of the programs offered by Foodvisor Premium, all you have to do is test it.
